Jaime and Tamara are always going to stay in our memories as one of those couples that the only thing they did at their wedding was to have a good time. Yeah! The Monasterio del Espino (Burgos, Spain) was the perfect setting for a wedding with a lot of feeling and rock & roll.
We met one day that they came to our studio from the area of Burgos, exclusively to meet us. This flattered us because not every day a couple travels five hours to travel to meet their potential wedding photographers.
The positivism of this couple of artists is contagious. After talking a while about the divine and the human, Tamara said, “Yes, we want you to be our photographers.” She left us half hallucinated and excited. We always like to give our couples a few days to think about it in private before hiring us, but this crazy couple was clear. “Why waste more time.”
The day of the wedding, we understood everything. A bride who plays the piano, a groom who also does. A bride who prepares a dance with her friends to the surprise of the guests, a groom who also does. A boyfriend who is equally surprised playing a scene of the Marx Brothers, as he leaves with opened mouth and damp cheeks the strongest man among his friends. A couple that brings a rock band from English lands, to make dance even the dullest of places. These people are pure excitement, pure rock & roll and we will be eternally grateful that you have chosen us to be your wedding photographers. To be a part of capturing everything that was lived there is a privilege that we value a lot.
Thanks Tamara, thanks Jaime. We hope that we will meet again as we did at dinner the other day, and continue to be on the same page on so many things.
